Although Act II of Eternity Isle is exclusively for DLC owners, Disney Dreamlight Valley announces that there will also be a free update rolling out simultaneously. This free update includes the long-awaited Daisy Duck and, with her, a brand-new business that all players can enjoy.
We’ve been hearing a lot about the next act of Eternity Isle, which is a bummer for players who don’t plan on making the expansion purchase. However, those feelings can wash away with the news of a completely free update arriving at the same time. According to the Developer Update video, this update will not only give us Daisy Duck but also another Disney Parks Dream Pass and a lovely Boutique business.
We’ve been waiting for Daisy Duck’s entrance for a while now, and she’s finally arriving. This means tons of new quests, more Friendship rewards, and, surprisingly, a new business opportunity. She’s bringing in a Boutique, which happens to be the same building Disney Dreamlight Valley teased during its April Fools prank. According to the Developer Update video, this Boutique will allow players to showcase their clothing designs. Friends joining in on Valley Visits can even purchase and wear them.
That’s not all you’ll be able to do with your friends this update! Players will finally have the chance to do Valley chores alongside friends (the opportunities we wanted from the start). We’ll be able to help out our friends by fishing, watering and harvesting crops, and gathering plants all around their Valley with them.
Along with the exciting news of Daisy and her Boutique, we will also be getting a new Dream Pass. Since we all loved the Disney Park rides and attractions before, they’re giving tons more iconic rides to place and interact with. Devs are even listening to our suggestions by giving us a chance to take selfies with our in-game cameras while on the rides.
We won’t have to wait too long to check out all this new content because it’ll roll out on May 1, 2024! You should expect to be able to update your game starting at 9 am EST; just be patient as it works its way across all platforms.
