Romance is always one of the prime themes in The Sims 4. Up to this point, we’ve used challenges, scenarios, and CC to spice up our love lives. However, new relationship activities, adventures, and items are just on the horizon in The Sims 4 “Season of Love” updates. Here are all the details!
There’s no intention of slowing down the fresh content in Sims 4. We’ve already seen so many new features, allowing us to build our own high schools, grow our family dynamics, and even rent out apartments. It’s about time we focus more on the romance themes of the game, and the developers plan to do just that with a whole collection of love-themed updates and packs.
According to their announcement, there will be two free updates, two “destination” kits, and one entire expansion. All of them follow the theme of “Season of Love,” meaning new dating activities, locations, and items. The free updates include style items like hair, nails, and some date night looks. As for the kits, they say”destinations” but were already previously leaked as outdoor pool and dining room build sets. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t fit perfectly for a new world in the expansion.
The expansion is where the best of the content will most likely reside. From the looks of the teaser, we can assume there will be a whole new world perfect for a romantic getaway. There is already lots of speculation as to what could be included in this expansion, like hotels, a dating app, vacation opportunities, and a whole revamp of the romance system in general.
We don’t know when we can expect these packs and updates to start rolling out. However, this roadmap is a good indication that they will all release fairly close together. Most likely, they will start releasing over the next month and the following months into summer (which would make playable vacations even more exciting).
