Lucky Hole Mine Location in Fallout 76

You’ll find the Lucky Hole Mine in Fallout 76 in the Savage Divide region of Appalachia. The mountain icons on the map show it southwest of Fort Defiance. Once discovered, it has the icon of the Cultist Head, not the typical mine icon you see on the map for other mines.

How to Get to the Secret Room in the Lucky Hole Mine

Once inside the Lucky Hole Mine, you’ll encounter a door chained from the other side. You’ll need to climb the stairs leading to the upper level above the door to unlock this door. Then, head to the corner and look down. You’ll see you can drop down into the room with the locked door. You’ll find an explosives crate, a level 2 safe, and potentially a Power Armor chassis.

What is the Code for the Lucky Hole Mine

While exploring the Lucky Hole Mine, you might encounter a locked door with a keypad. To open it, you must enter the correct code – 238 963.

The key to unlocking the Lucky Hole Mine keypad code is discovering the Smuggler’s Stash note. You can find this note in the wooden shack closest to the mine entrance just after you fast-travel here. The note is conveniently placed on a table next to a bed.

Once inside, you’ll find the following items:

  • Three lootable duffle bags.
  • Two Crystal Veins.
  • One Explosives Box.

In addition to unlocking the secret room, you’ll have the chance to find 4 Bobbleheads and 1 Magazine at this location:

  • Chem Lab: Sitting on the chalkboard.

  • Lucky Hole Key: Sitting below the Lucky Hole Key on the lectern.
