There are a number of weapons used throughout the Fallout Prime series. While some of them are unique, such as the Ghoul’s Mare’s Leg, others were taken right from the games. This is every game weapon seen in Fallout season one.
All Fallout Game Weapons that Appear in Fallout Series Season 1
Of all the weapons used in the various franchise games, a handful of them made it into the first season of Amazon Prime’s show. There are a variety of generic weapons used by the raiders, such as a bat and knife, along with some improvised weapons, like the fork used to partially blind Stephanie Turner. The following armaments are particularly notable.
*As a note, the following list may contain spoilers. Proceed at your own risk.*
10mm Pistol
The gun Lucy picks up at the Super Duper Mart to kill the feral ghouls is a 10mm Pistol. It’s a popular early game weapon throughout the franchise, even appearing in Fallout Shelter. Her pistol is nearly identical to that seen in Fo76, and Fallout Shelter.
Assault Rifle
The guns used by the Brotherhood of Steel are Fallout 4 and Fallout 76‘s version of the Assault Rifle. They bear the metal exterior of the upgraded version instead of wood, and you can see the butt of it often sticking out of the large bag that the squires carry for the knights.
Ma June also uses an assault rifle in her shootout with The Ghoul. Though it differs in appearance from those used by the BoS, it falls under the same category. Lucy sees multiple modded versions on the weapon wall in the Sundries shop.
Junk Jet
In the very first episode of the series, one of the most creative and unique weapons of the Fallout universe made its presence known. The grave guard was killed by a doll’s leg through the chest, a signature of the gun as it shoots random objects classified in the game as junk. We don’t actually get to see the weapon until episode two when Lucy spots one hanging on the wall in Ma June’s Sundries when she’s taking cover from fire.
Light Machine Gun
These are the guns used by Moldaver raiders and, eventually, Maximus during the clash at the Observatory. This weapon is a little less on the money, but appears to be a Light Machine Gun. The stock and barrel are of similar design. However, it could also be a version of the Assault Rifle from Fallout 3.
Machine Gun Turret
In episode 2 we see a turret rising from the ground as Siggi Wilzig and CX404 make a break for freedom from the Enclave. A Machine Gun Turret, the automated defense system sprays out a shower of bullets at moving targets. These are seen throughout the wasteland near raider camps or super mutant settlements and come in various lethality. In Fallout 76 and Fallout 4, you can build these yourself to defend your settlement or C.A.M.P.
The Ripper
As Siggi lay dying, he took out a folded-up melee weapon. Unfolding it, you can see a chain with teeth that goes around the clean, metallic section. This is a Ripper, the pint-sized chainsaw replacement. A very fast melee weapon in the games, it easily cuts off limbs and is far more portable. It’s been an iconic weapon of the Fallout franchise since the first title, though the show made it foldable.
Syringer
The Syringer was first introduced in Fallout 4. It fires medical syringes filled with various substances, such as Radscorpion Poison or chems that can make the target go crazy. Lucy doesn’t really wield a normal Syringer. Instead, she modifies the syringes used by Mr. Handy Snip Snip and fills them with Abraxo, a toxic cleaner. Accidentally firing off a round, the space around the needle starts to dissolve due to the acidity, showing how lethal the weapon can be.
