Pokemon Scarlet & Violet‘s Teal Mask DLC introduced a handful of new Pokemon to catch and add to your team. One of these Pokemon is Dipplin, a brand-new evolution to Applin. Dipplin is the third evolution option for Applin alongside Flapple and Appletun. It maintains the Grass and Dragon type. Like the other options, it requires a special item to evolve. In this guide, we’ll show you how to evolve Applin into Dipplin.
How to Evolve Applin Into Dipplin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask
Where to Catch Applin
First, you’ll need to catch yourself an Applin. It can be found in the orchards in Apple Hills, which is located to the left of Mossui Town. Make sure to check the trees as they blend in with the regular apples. I found the best way to catch Applin is to use a Quick Ball, which has a x5 catch rate on the first turn.Â
Where to Find Syrupy Apples
The Syrupy Apple is the item used to evolve Applin into Dipplin. They can be bought by a shack in Mossfell Confluence at the bottom right of the map. The Syrupy Apple only costs 500 Pokedollars, so you do not have to worry about money.Â
How to Use the Syrupy AppleÂ
Once you’ve caught an Applin and bought the Syrupy Apple, you can now evolve Applin into Dipplin. You’ll have to go into your Bag, and select the Syrupy Apple. Use it on your Applin. It will evolve into Dipplin! It works just like using an evolutionary stone for an evolution.Â
Remember to have these things in mind if you want to evolve Applin into Dipplin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC. Catch an Applin in the orchards in Apple Hills with a Quick Ball, buy a Syrupy Apple in Mossfell Confluence, and use it just like an evolutionary stone.
