Where to Find the Dog’s Favorite Balls in Little Kitty, Big City

Big Potato lost his balls. Luckily, you can help him get them back in Little Kitty, Big City.

In Little Kitty, Big City, you hit it off with a local dog who’s quick to inform you that he’s lost his balls. Innuendo aside, he’s not looking for just any tennis balls — which can be found pretty much anywhere in the city. Rather, he’s lost three special rainbow-colored toys in his yard, and he needs your help to find them. Luckily, Kitty’s skillset is perfect for the job. Here’s where to find all three of the dog’s favorite balls in Little Kitty, Big City.

Where to Find the Dog’s Lost Balls in Little Kitty, Big City

The first time you use Little Kitty’s fast travel system — dubbed the Petwork by Tanuki — you’ll wind up next to a friendly Shiba’s yard. Unlike the city’s fearsome guard dogs, he introduces himself as Big Potato and asks for your assistance in finding three of his favorite rainbow-colored toys hidden in the yard. With a thorough search effort, you’ll find them in the following areas.

1. In the Bird’s Nest

On my own playthrough, I spotted the first ball in a bird’s nest. To swipe it down from the tree, you can either scale the ivy on the side of the greenhouse or go inside and climb the vines growing there. Once you make it to the roof, you’ll just need to jump onto the tree branch. Carefully line up your leap and let it fly. Finally, give the nest a good swipe, and don’t forget to bat the ball back to the dog.

2. On the Balcony

From the greenhouse roof, you can actually see the second ball’s location: inside a clay pot on the balcony. Again, you’ll just need to line up a good jump to land on the railing, then knock the pot down to the ground.

If you accidentally swipe the pot in the wrong direction like I did, no worries. You can still kick the ball off the balcony and take it back to Big Potato.

3. Under the Bucket

Okay, this one had me seriously stumped for a while. I scoured the yard for a solid 15 minutes before I realized the bucket behind Big Potato could be moved, uncovering the last ball. To be clear, the bucket won’t budge much with just a swipe, so this is a good time to use your zoomies. Hit it head-on and return the dog’s final toy.

With all three rainbow-colored balls returned to your new friend, he’ll reward you with the Shiba Hat to add to your collection. This way, both Big and Little Potato can match not only in title but in appearance.

That wraps up another quest on your to-do list as you search for a way home. Head over to our Little Kitty, Big City guides hub for more tips on finding hats and Chameleon’s hiding spots.
