Unlike some Resonance Skill-focused Resonators in Wuthering Waves, Lingyang is all about movement and quick Glacio-based skirmishing Basic and Heavy attack combos. With this in mind, let’s talk about the best Echoes for Lingyang in Wuthering Waves.
Best Lingyang Echoes in Wuthering Waves
By far, the best Echo set for Lingyang is the 5-piece Freezing Frost Sonata set. This is because Freezing Frost’s 5-Piece ability is really easy for Longyang to trigger due to his fast attacks with the Forte meter full. You’ll be outputting incredible DPS and can quickly stack up 3 stacks of Glacio damage boosts.
Essentially, you’re looking for the Lampylumen Myriad Echo as your primary, which is the Glacio World Boss found in a cave near the Tiger’s Maw Mine. I recommend you farm it until you get Crit Rate or Glacio damage on it and then tune it for Crit Damage, Attack, or Heavy/Basic Attack damage. Each of these secondary stats works really well for Lingyang, who is generally all about attacking swiftly.
As for the rest of the Echoes, I run the following 5-piece structure:
- Lampylumen Myriad as the 4-cost.
- Two 3-cost Freezing Frost Echoes.
- Two 1-cost Freezing Frost Echoes.
I highly recommend farming 3-costs that have Glacio damage boosts, and the 1-costs should have Attack. The secondary stats should match the ones above. One last honorable mention is for the Endless Resonance Sonata set, which also works decently well with Lingyang. That said, I prefer the Glacio version with Freezing Frost since it also buffs Skills. Still, Resonance Sonata can drastically boost your Basic and Heavy attacks, and Lingyang’s kit is suited for attack speed, so it might work, though I’ll have to do some further testing in the Tower of Adversity.
